If you have a sales organization, or you have like a call center, or you're calling a lot of people, a lot of times people don't do any reputation management on their phone numbers. So like actually googling the name of your company, or googling the number, because like if you're making a lot of calls in a call center, there's some preventative measures that you can do to actually switch out numbers, your phone number could actually come up at

marked as a likely scam, which means that nobody's going to answer the phone. And what happens is the cell phone company is they analyze all the phone numbers against the database. So if you have like a voice over IP system that automatically dials people, or you have a certain kind of phone line, sometimes that can actually be marked as a scam, especially with sales centers or call centers is many of these call centers will call the people over and over and over with the same number, and not even do any kind of number management or caller ID management. And then they don't check anything when they've made hundreds or millions of calls. And now your company is actually marked as a scam. Someone looks up the phone number. Now your domain name is in there, the name of your company, and then this will start to create problems for you online. If it tags to your phone number. And that phone number comes up as a scam. It's gonna stay with you. So many call centers will actually change their phone numbers. They'll do what we call them.

Number of management. And they're always checking stuff online just to take a proactive stance. So this is part of reputation management as well. Most call centers have at least a strategy where they'll switch off the numbers or they'll change the numbers based on who they're calling. The other thing too, just for business, if you are making a lot of calls, is making sure that the caller ID actually comes into an inbound group for somebody to actually support and help those people that are calling you back. And a lot of call centers that make a large volume of call, have no idea what I'm talking about when it comes to inbound, or an inbound group. And that just means that if you're making 10,000 calls a week, and those people go to call you back to do business with you, if you don't have your phone set up the right way, and it goes to voicemail and there's no recording on your company, then you're likely losing business that you would have had and these people are now calling you so the whole physical dynamic changes.
